Our Systems

Real estatePart of being a successful Real Estate investor is having systems in place to be able to track and control many aspects of the business.  You will see on this page some of our systems.

BOOK KEEPING

All book keeping, tracking of income and expenses is done with Quickbooks online, which allows updates and tracking to be done from anywhere on a mobile device.  When rent is collected, it can be accounted for immediately.  Most expenses are automatically linked into the software for quick, efficient and accurate results.

RENTAL ARREARS

The process for dealing with rental arrears is very clear under the Landlord Tenant Act.  Where many landlords get into trouble is when they don’t know or don’t follow the rules or when they don’t take the necessary steps immediately when their tenants get behind.  We have a system of knowing and following the rules to ensure tenants are not taking advantage but are aware that action will be taken if they choose not to pay rent.

DISPUTES

Many disputes between landlord and tenant or between tenants are a matter of expectations.  We consistently manage expectations and lean on our past experiences to manage any disputes.  Often treating people with respect and listening is the key to a resolution.
